Advantages of Online Shopping(Please read)

Benefits of Shopping Online

Internet has revolutionized the way we do our Shopping. Because of the numerous Advantages and Benefits of Shopping Online more and more people these days prefer Online Shopping over conventional shopping. There are many reasons why I think buying on the internet is the best option too.
What are some reasons why Online Shopping is liked by many? Given below are my Top 10 Reasons for Buying Online.
see more below

10 Benefits of Online Shopping

1) Convenience: The convenience of this method of shopping is what I like best about it. Where else can you do shopping even a midnight wearing your night suit? You do not have to wait in a line or wait till the shop assistant is ready to help you with your purchases. You can do your shopping in minutes even if you are busy apart from saving time and avoiding crowds. Online shops give us the opportunity to shop 24 x 7 and also reward us with a ‘no pollution’ shopping. There is no better place to buy information products like e-books. Immediately after the payment is made one can download the information. And downloadable items purchased online eliminate the need for any kind of material goods at all.
2) Better Prices: Another thing which fascinates me is the cheap deals and better prices I get from online stores because products come to you direct from the manufacturer or seller without middlemen involved. Many online shops offer discount coupons and rebates. Apart from this, the Online Store is only required to collect sales tax if they have a physical location in our state even if we buy from a store across the world.
3) Variety: The choices you can get for products are amazing. One can get several brands and products from different sellers at one place. You can get in on the latest international trends without spending money on airfare. When you shop online, you can shop from retailers in other parts of the country or even the world without being limited by geographic area. These stores offer a far greater selection of colors and sizes than you will find locally. Apart from that, How many times have it happened that you spend your money reaching a local shop only to find that the product you need is out of stock? Some online shops have a provision to accept orders without stock and ship it across to you when the stock becomes available. You also have the option of taking your business to another online store where the product is available.
4) Send Gifts: Online Shopping makes sending gifts to relatives and friends easy, no matter where ever they stay. Now there is no need of making distance an excuse for not sending a gift on occasions like Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, Marriage, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day etc.
5) Fewer Expenses: Many times when we opt for conventional shopping we tend to spend a lot more than the required shopping expenses on things like eating out, traveling, impulsive shopping etc.
6) Comparison of Prices: Online shops make comparison and research of products and prices possible. Online stores also give you the ability to share information and reviews with other shoppers who have firsthand experience with a product or retailer.
7) Crowds: If you are like me, you would like to avoid the crowds when you do the shopping. Especially during Festivals and Special events the crowds can really give a head ache. Crowds force us to do a hurried shopping most of the time. For me grumpy or irritating people and those who smell bad are a huge turn off. Crowds also create a problem when it comes to finding a parking place nearby where you want to shop and going back to your vehicle later loaded with shopping bags.
8) Compulsive Shopping: Many times when we go out on Shopping we end up buying things which we do not require because of the shop keepers up selling skills. Sometimes we even compromise on our choices because of the lack of choices in those shops.
9) Buying Old or unused Stuff at low prices: Online Shops make it possible for us to buy old or unused stuff at rock bottom prices. If we want to buy antiques there is no better options than online stores.
10) Discreet Purchases: Some things are better done in privacy. Online shops are also best for discreet purchases like adult toys, sexy lingerie and so on. Online Shops enable me to purchase under garments and lingerie without the embarrassment that there are several people watching me and my choices.
So, what do you think? Have I not given enough reasons on why online shopping is the best? In fact I love to buy Perfumes online. Another of my favorite items online is Precious and Semi precious Gemstones.
Any other reasons why people prefer shopping online to real shopping? Please feel free to add through comments.

Buying from Online Stores

When you are buying from online stores make sure that you check out the following.
  • Does the online store value your privacy and confidentiality? Is their privacy policy available to read if you want to see it?
  • How long have they been in business? Are they reputed in business with great reviews from customers?
  • Does the online store have a way to contact them?
  • If you’re unhappy with your purchase, do they have a refund policy?
If you take care of the above, Online shopping can be a very rewarding experience.

His handle – of course – is @AlikoDangote. And, he had barely joined, before he was verified by Twitter.
And for the first 6 people the chairman of the Dangote Group followed, well a tweet from the blogger, Feyi Fawhinmi captures it all:

12 Biggest Nigerian Songs Of 2013

According to the NET, These are the 12 biggest Nigerian songs of 2013. Do you agree with the list ?. What song do you think is missing. See full list below.

‘Limpopo‘ – KCEE
This is the song that gave KCEE the final breakthrough; written by Harrysong and produced by Del B, the Pop tune propelled KCEE into the limelight and literally changed the course of his career. ‘Limpopo’ is so much of a party hard tune that we didn’t bother doing that shameless ‘two-finger- KCEE dance.

‘Sho Lee‘ – Sean Tizzle
How about having this for a first single? Sean Tizzle who had just left Sound Sultan’s Najia Ninjas crew took along a couple of his former boss’ written songs and met up with budding talented hit maker DeeTunes (who had just parted ways with Iyanya). The result was ‘Sho lee’, an infectious high-tempo club song that had everybody asking if she/he/it was ‘tough enough’ or not.

‘Skelewu‘ – Davido
Usual collaborators Pop singer Davido and producer Shizzi stunned us all with this unusual syrupy tune called ‘Skelewu’, which instantly became a fan favourite when it dropped in August. Don’t act like you never stretched your hand out and swerved your shoulders as you attempted to do ’Skelewu’ the dance better than the originator.

‘Gobe‘ – Davido
Before ‘Skelewu’ dropped, Davido hooked up with song writer Password and producer Shizzi for his first post-debut album smash hit ‘Gobe’. The huge Pop tune cemented his place on the A-list sheet and in the clubs.

‘Caro‘ – StarBoy feat Wizkid, L.A.X
Wizkid dropped a couple of singles in 2013 but it was his collaborative effort with his StarBoy label rookie L.A.X and in-house producers Legendury Beatz that made the highest end of the charts. Many have sang about this lady ‘Caro’ but Wizzy’s description over that Afrobeat tune stands out.

‘Rotate‘ – Wande Coal
Before their childish fight on Twitter Wande Coal and Don Jazzy were an item. Having released a previous collaboration in 2013 (‘The Kick’), the pair worked on another, this becoming an instant monster jam.

‘Yes/No‘ – Banky W
Not only did the Cobhams-produced ‘Yes/no’ performed by Banky W turn out to be his biggest hit tune from his R&BW album, the mid-tempo RnB tune got him millions of wedding performances around the country. This was a big song for the lovers in 2013.

‘Sexy Mama‘ – Iyanya feat Wizkid
This is what you get from two Pop giants who decided to talk about African women on a DeeTunes produced track. The great thing about the song is the way Iyanya and Wizkid’s verses were weaved into each other. The song was so pacey, you’d have to hit the repeat button at least twice to have a full dose.

‘Eminado‘ – Tiwa Savage feat Don Jazzy
We once described this song as ‘totally horrible, unimaginably boring and a complete waste of time’. We still think it is but who are we compared to the millions of Nigerians that think otherwise? To the millions blasting this from their mobile phones to the other millions dancing to it in the clubs?

‘Durosoke‘ – Olamide
Probably his biggest hit ever, Olamide’s casual delivery on this Mr Pheelz produced number blew his career beyond boarders.

‘Ada Ada‘ – Flavour
We won’t deny, we all wanted to get married when we heard this song. Definitely hyped by the wedding themed video, Flavour’s ‘Ada ada’ became at a point the number one song in the east and number one song at every wedding in the country.

‘Personally‘ – Psquare
Peter and Paul Okoye had a brilliant year – without the release of an album, they maintained their high ranks with the aid of the Pop tune Pidgin English delivered ‘Personally’. Whether we will ever get to know the meaning of ‘habatically’ is a topic for another day…

Culled from Punch
The Federal Government has budgeted N1.52b for the maintenance of the 10 aircraft currently in the Presidential Air Fleet in 2014.
The maintenance cost is slightly higher than the N1.5bn proposed as the initial deposit for the purchase of additional aircraft that will bring the number of aircraft in the fleet to 11.
This is apart from the N747m earmarked for the purchase of aviation fuel for the aircraft already in the fleet.
These figures are contained in the details of the 2014 Appropriation Bill presented to the National Assembly by President Goodluck Jonathan through the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, penultimate week.

The government has also earmarked N458.5m for international trainings for the fleet’s personnel in the coming year.

Another chunk of the budget for the fleet is the N675.9m budgeted for the rehabilitation/renovation/repairs of PAF Barracks.

A whopping N405.5m is also proposed for the completion of a hangar project under the PAF budget for the year while N106m is earmarked for tyre bay tools and equipment.
The PAF’s security vote (including operations) is N259.55m; insurance premium — N445.7m; as well as cleaning and fumigation services —N58m.

N71.74m is budgeted for 797 units of LG 2HP air conditioners for PAF Barracks; N40.5m is earmarked for three units of Toyota Coaster buses and N26.4m for four units of Toyota Hilux.
Motor vehicle fuel will gulp N29.6m, other transport equipment fuel cost — N26.5m; plant/generator fuel cost N14.5m as well as cooking gas/fuel cost — N2m.

The N67m devoted to miscellaneous included refreshment and meals — N28.9m; postage and courier services — N15m; medical expenses — N12m; corps members kitting, transport and feeding allowance N3.7m and honorarium and sitting allowance — N3.6m.

PAF is said to have the third largest fleet of aircraft in the country with a total of 10 aircraft, coming closely behind Aerocontractors Airlines, which has a total of 14 aircraft.

Arik Air, the largest commercial airline in the country, has a fleet of 23 aircraft.
The PAF include two Falcon 7X jets, two Falcon 900 jets, Gulfstream 550, one Boeing 737 BBJ (Nigerian Air Force 001 or Eagle One), and Gulfstream IVSP.

Others are one Gulfstream V, Cessna Citation 2 aircraft and Hawker Siddley 125-800 jet.

Davido Finally Confirms That “Skelewu” is Spiritual” Juju Tins

Skelewu-81
Davido some days ago tweeted that his song”Skelewu”is spiritual and Juju tins.
see tweet below
davido skelewu1
Coincidentally, something happened to the two music directors who directed the music video:
Music video directors Sesan Ogunro and Moe Musa lost their dads.
Sesan’s dad, Sesan Ogunro Snr was shot point blank by armed robbers as he returned from his church’s Christmas Carol with his family – kids and grand kids. He was rushed to the hospital, only to die later on.
Moe Musa’s dad died after a horrific gas explosion in his kitchen, here in Lagos.
Coincidental or related? What exactly is he trying to tell us?

Preacher Attempts To Walk On Water And Drowns!

A news organization, WORLDNETDAILY has reported the following unfortunate incident:
“An evangelist who tried replicating Jesus’ miracle of walking on water has reportedly drowned off the western coast of Africa. Pastor Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation he could repeat the biblical miracle, and he attempted it from a beach in Gabon’s capital of Libreville. ‘He told churchgoers he’d had a revelation that if he had enough faith, he could walk on water like Jesus,’ an eyewitness told the Glasgow Daily Record.
‘He took his congregation to the beach saying he would walk across the Komo estuary, which takes 20 minutes by boat. He walked into the water, which soon passed over his head and he never came back.’
A researcher at Florida State University believes he has a natural explanation for the account of Jesus’ miraculous walk on the surface of water — ice. Professor of Oceanography Doron Nof and the co-authors of his study theorize that a rare combination of optimal water and atmospheric conditions resulted in a unique, localized freezing phenomenon called ‘springs ice.’"
This horrible incident, together with a “professor’s” response, progresses from the tragically untaught to the supremely obtuse.

The Tragedy of Ignorance

“‘Pastor’ Kabele” obviously was a very sincere man; but sincerity does not nullify ignorance. I do not use this term in a pejorative way. All of us are ignorant in some matters. It’s just that sometimes one form of ignorance can have a greater consequence than others. In the first place it should be noted that “revelations” from God do not occur today. When the Old Testament era came to an end in Malachi’s day, 400 years passed with no “revelations” from God. This era frequently is described as “the four silent centuries.”
With the coming of a new age, from the commencement of Jesus’ ministry to the death of the apostle John, there was another relatively brief period when supernatural revelation and signs were manifest. When the New Testament was completed, and the apostles and other people possessing miraculous abilities died, no further signs were provided.
Had poor Mr. Kabele known his Bible better, he would not have attempted his “miracle” feat; had he possessed a moderate amount of common sense, he quickly would have discovered he could not “walk on water,” before the sea finally took him.
