AIR TRAVELLER DETAINED AT EDINGBUGH AIRPORT OVER AFTERSHAVE

A passenger`s bottle of aftershave caused a full blown a full-blown terrorist response at Edinburgh Airport recently after officials mistook it for a hand grenade.
Jimmy Ho, 25, was going through security with his friends at Edinburgh Airport, and realised something was up when officials failed to return his luggage.
“I noticed that everyone was looking at me really strangely, and I had absolutely no idea what was going on,” recalls Ho.
I was waiting quite a while before anyone actually said anything to me and then they asked me why I had a hand grenade in my luggage and I was totally shocked.
“I had no idea what they were talking about and then I realised it was my fragrance.”
Ho was carrying a bottle of Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb, which is made of glass and is shaped like a hand grenade.
He was then surrounded by police, and security officials took away his aftershave for rigorous testing.
While he was waiting for the results of the tests, the police who were surrounding Ho  continued to ask if the aftershave contained any dangerous substances. They went and checked it all out for about 30 minutes, so during that time I didn’t know what to think,” said Ho.“Thinking back now, I guess it was really silly and I think the design of the bottle is really bad considering.”
He was finally released after 45 nerve wracking minutes and allowed to board his flight back to London – just in the nick of time.
But Ho’s not bitter towards security staff.
“I guess at the end of the day it is an airport and it’s a good thing that they do all these checks,” he said.
We suspect Jimmy might double check his hand luggage next time!. Sincerely speaking, if i was the one in the airport, I would have ran away when i saw the grenade perfume bottle.
