Word for the day

Yesterday @church, I heard some news that made goose bump  take charge of my body . In life, you might think your situation is very bad but until you hear other stories then you might not know that your situation is nothing compared to what people younger have experienced. In any situation you find yourself, always give thanks to God. Some of us get angry or even insult our parents when they dont get you that designer bag or trainers or that new mobile phone whereby some people out there are just seeking that parental love. And to some parents, the way they know how to show love is buying you cloths, paying your bills and providing shelter for you but love is more than that. Communication and advice is one of the most important thing to give your children  because that s what they need more above any other thing. I dont blame the parents because they learnt from their parents that the way of showing love is by buying stuff for their kids and providing shelter for them. You cannot give what you dont have. A teacher cannot teach his student what he/she does not know and the same goes for our parents. They give us what their parents gave to them . In reference to an article I wrote sometime ago, the same goes for kids that have kids. You cannot give or teach your child what you dont have or what you dont know. For example a girl from an early age always sees her father coming back home drunk and always hitting the mum and not doing his manly duties like providing for his family. She might grow up thinking that all men are just like her father if her mother does not sit her down and tell her that everyone is different.  When this young lady finally grows up, she might not respect men because of her past experience and if she has kids, she will end up telling them that men are this and that because she is giving them what she has. A little thing can make a big difference in a generation. In this our generation and the generation to come, children with good manners are going to be as rare as Gold but we can all make a difference. Parents make time out for your kids, listen and communicate with them. They need that most
P.s: This is from my personal point of view
